Biography

Kajeera Jenkins (b. 1995, Breamlea, Australia) received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from RMIT, Melbourne, Australia in 2012.

Kajeera makes photographic work using film, with a focus on underwater and the natural world. His works explore the beauty that the natural world has to offer as well as sharing his perspective of the mysterious underwater world. He creates work with a fixation on abstraction, warping perspective and challenging the audience to think deeply about the images. He is always engaged in building concept and moulding his work to have meaning beyond what first comes to mind.

Kajeera has had many solo and group shows in Geelong, Australia; Analogue Academy and Hue and Cry now known as Liminal Gallery & Lab in Geelong, AUS, Platform Arts in Geelong, AUS.

Kajeera currently lives and works in Torquay, Australia.
